As a signatory to the Homelessness Covenant, your organisation is committed to contributing towards the collective goal of ending homelessness. The following terms and conditions outline the responsibilities and expectations for all signatories.
1. Commitment to the Covenant's Objectives
Signatories agree to support the overarching mission of the Homelessness Covenant, which is to work collaboratively towards ending homelessness
Signatories shall endeavour to align their organisational practices, policies, and initiatives with the principles outlined in the Covenant
2. Implementation of Pledges
Signatories are required to adopt and implement the specific Pledges associated with the Homelessness Covenant. These Pledges will be tailored to the capacity and focus of each organisation
Signatories shall make reasonable efforts to integrate the Pledges into their operations and report on progress annually through survey sent out and case studies
3. Participation in Covenant Activities
Signatories are encouraged to participate in activities organised by the Homelessness Covenant, including webinars, networking events, and any other meetings and events
Signatories may be invited to share their experiences and best practices with other members of the Covenant community
4. Use of Resources
Signatories will have access to resources provided by the Homelessness Covenant, including guides, toolkits, and webinars. These resources are to be used solely for the purpose of advancing the objectives of the Covenant
Signatories agree not to share proprietary resources or materials with third parties outside the Covenant without prior permission
5. Public Recognition and Branding
Signatories are permitted to publicly acknowledge their participation in the Homelessness Covenant and to use the Covenant’s branding in accordance with the guidelines provided
Any public statements or materials referring to the Homelessness Covenant must accurately represent the signatory’s commitment and activities
Signatories are not permitted to use the Crisis logo. We have a Homelessness Covenant lockup that has been designed for signatories to use
6. Reporting and Accountability
Signatories are expected to provide information about what they are doing against the Pledges through the form of a yearly survey and case studies
7. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
Signatories are encouraged to actively participate in the exchange of knowledge and best practices within the Covenant community
Collaborative efforts between signatories are encouraged, and the Covenant may facilitate introductions or partnerships where appropriate
8. Data Protection and Confidentiality
Signatories must comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations when handling any personal or sensitive information obtained through their involvement in the Covenant
Confidential information shared between signatories or by the Covenant should not be disclosed to third parties without appropriate consent
9. Termination of Participation
Signatories may terminate their participation in the Homelessness Covenant by providing written notice. Upon termination, the signatory must cease using the Covenant’s branding and resources
The Homelessness Covenant may withdraw a signatory’s participation if they do not meet the outlined guidelines or engage in actions that conflict with the Covenant’s mission
10. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
The Homelessness Covenant reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as needed. Signatories will be notified of any significant changes and will have the opportunity to review and agree to the updated terms
