What is Crisis: The Christmas Album?
This is a musical fundraising event built on the creative talent of 31 artists. The project delivers 14 fresh Christmas songs where all the profits of online and cd sales will go Crisis.
What made you take on this project?
Last Christmas Jim Cozens was struggling as usual to find some fresh new songs for his Christmas playlist, he was bored with the usual lot!
Then it occurred to him that he knew many songwriters that might be able to solve the problem.
He asked them and many took up the challenge. So, he spent this year gathering, recording, producing, performing and in some cases co-writing 14 fresh new Christmas songs.
All the artists have contributed their work for free, to support the project.
Why are you supporting Crisis?
It seemed to be the most deserving and most appropriate charity for a Christmas album. Crisis at Christmas has always been such an important event, and never more so than at a time of economic and social hardship, such as that we are now in.
