Crisis at Christmas wishlist - Oxford

This Christmas, Crisis Skylight Oxford will be providing a service of food parcels, clothing, Christmas hampers and remote or socially distanced activities as well as practical and emotional support.

Christmas can often be a really lonely time for people experiencing homelessness issue. We plan to keep our members connected and safe during this time and items you donate will go directly towards people as gifts or essential items. 

We have set up an Wishlist of items that we know will be appreciated and needed over this Winter period. We are very grateful for every donation, big or small. 

 Alongside our Wishlist we are also looking for the following items... 

A range of non-perishable products including items suitable for diabetics, gluten free, vegan etc to be added into our gift hampers (please ensure a best before date after January 2025):  

  • Pot Noodles 
  • Porridge Pots 
  • Tinned food: soup / fruit / meat / veg  
  • Pasta/rice/noodles 
  • Instant mashed potato 
  • Gravy granules 
  • Tinned fruit & custard 
  • Dried food: fruits / nuts / raisins / cranberries  
  • Boxes of biscuits  
  • Teabags/Instant coffee 
  • Christmas selection boxes / Boxes of chocolates 
  • Family bag crisps and snacks 
  • Jars of jam/honey/chocolate spread 
  • Fruit juice / squash / fizzy drinks 

TOILETRIES 

A range suitable for different skin types (sensitive / dry etc.) but no alcohol based products to go in our gift hampers: 

  • Shower gel 
  • Face / hand wipes 
  • Roll on / spray deodorant 
  • Hand cream 
  • Lip balm 
  • Toothpaste 

GIFTS 

We are looking for donations of the following: 

  • A gift card to be used in either a supermarket, clothing store or food establishment 
  • Gifts for children of all ages 
  • Vouchers for e.g. Costa Coffee, cinema etc.  

CLOTHING 

We are looking for donations of the following: 

  • Warm socks (large) 
  • Hats 
  • Gloves 
  • Underwear 

Please do not donate second hand or used clothing.
