Hitachi Capital UK partners with Crisis

Hitachi, one of the UK's leading providers of innovative financial solutions for retail, motor, business and consumers, has partnered with Crisis this year to help us support thousands of people on their journey out of homelessness. Hitachi brought forward their £20,000 donation in light of the coronavirus outbreak and have moved to virtual fundraising to continue to support Crisis to provide vital services to those who are most exposed during the outbreak.

Robert Gordon, CEO of Hitachi Capital (UK) PLC said: “We’re delighted to form a partnership with Crisis and make a donation to assist the tremendous work they do in helping rough sleepers rebuild their lives. Tackling homelessness is something incredibly important to everyone at Hitachi Capital UK, and through our volunteering and financial support, we look forward to helping make a difference to some of the most vulnerable people in our society.”

Support from Hitachi will go towards the running of our year-round services at our Skylight centres across the UK, where thousands of people are supported out of homelessness each year. In addition to receiving one-to-one employment and housing coaching and health and wellbeing support from our front-line staff, Skylight members take part in transformative training and learning courses that lead to qualifications and finding work.

Thank you so much to all the staff at Hitachi for your generosity at this critical time. We look forward to continuing our work to end homelessness with you throughout the year.
