Take Care Show Care
Crisis is proud to have partnered with GSK for more than 25 years – working together to help end homelessness in Great Britain.
Over this time, GSK employees have volunteered their time at Crisis and the company has given more than £2 million in support of Crisis’ health and wellbeing services which work to help people who are homeless improve their mental and physical health.
As part of Take Care Show Care, GSK’s Cold and Flu product campaign will feature in Asda stores between October to December, GSK Consumer Healthcare have donated £100,000 to support Crisis throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
During the outbreak, Crisis has played a vital role working with organisations to help move people who were living on the streets into temporary accommodation, like hotel rooms. Now, Crisis is continuing to help people find safe, stable, and permanent homes, as well as providing vital support with mental health and wellbeing to help people rebuild their lives.
Richard Lee, Director of Fundraising at Crisis, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to for GSK their ongoing support and helping us to end homelessness in Great Britain. Their generous donations have meant that we can support clients with their health and wellbeing, and will help to fund our frontline services which are adapting to meet the urgent needs of people leaving temporary accommodation, and those people made newly homeless as a result of coronavirus. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the team at GSK for helping us in our mission to end homelessness for good.”
