Fat Macy's 12 week training programme

A pathway from hostel to home

Fat Macy’s is a social enterprise that supports Londoners to move on from temporary accommodation through training in our restaurant and catering business, intensive 1:1 support and access to a rental deposit.

Our Impact

To date, we’ve had 30 trainees complete the programme and we’ve secured five housing deposits for people to move into their first home. We’re currently working with a whole new cohort of trainees and have big plans to scale our impact in 2022.

Support from our engagement officers continues for up to 2 years as it's needed. Our progression team continually refine our 200-hour programme to meet the changing needs of our trainees and make our support as holistic as possible.

What we do

Our unique approach combines training and work experience with holistic support and coaching to move adults who have experienced homelessness into fulfilling employment and long-term accommodation so they can build a stable life.
