Crisis Skylight Birmingham have, for many years, had a women's group called "Power Up". What we haven't had in a long time is a group for our male members. 

We are delighted that this has now been rectified! With the support of staff and one of our volunteers who used to be a Crisis member, a men's group has now been started. 

In May, the first activity was organised and eight members took a trip to Stratford Upon Avon. It was important for the members to get out of Birmingham and go somewhere really different

Planned activities included a Boat trip along the Avon, a tour of the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre, visiting Shakespeare's grave, and a scavenger hunt. There was even time for some golf on a putting green!

Next month, the group are planning on going to Sutton Park, for a walk, game of rounders and try their hand a game of giant Jenga!
