Tunbridge Wells- Rent in Advance and Deposit Guarantee

Project summary

For households who have a priority for accommodation under homelessness legislation the Council funds the Rent in Advance and Deposit Guarantee Schemes. The Rent Deposit Loan is an interest free loan to pay the first months rent and up to 6 weeks rent to cover a deposit to help you move into a private rental. The loan can be repaid in either weekly or monthly instalments over a maximum of three years.

You can apply if:

• You are homeless or threatened with homelessness
  You have a local connection to Tunbridge Wells
  You are considered to be a priority need in accordance with the homelessness legislation
