North Lanarkshire Rent Deposit Guarantee Scheme provides private landlords with a deposit guarantee, so that prospective tenants in housing need can access a property within the private rented sector without having to pay a cash deposit.

How are referrals made

Tenants interested in the scheme are advised to contact their local First Stop Shop for information, where a local Housing Advisor will conduct a needs assessment and consider all of the housing options available.
