Get involved with Crisis at Christmas in Edinburgh

This winter make a difference and help someone as they build a life beyond homelessness.

This Christmas, people facing homelessness in Edinburgh will need support. Crisis works at Christmas and all year round to support people in Edinburgh to build lives beyond homelessness. 

Every year at thanks to the Christmas appeal we offer much needed warmth, healthcare, food and company to people experiencing homelessness. Our Christmas services work alongside the specialist support we provide all year, which includes helping people to find their own stable home, to access education and training.  

his Christmas we will be providing a bespoke offer to members of Crisis Skylight Newcastle.   

  • We are running a variety of fun, engaging and festive-inspired sessions throughout December. Activities will be an extension of our year-round learning offer, including arts, cooking, crafts, and woodwork, as well as other social events such as a film club and a health and wellbeing day.   
  • There will be continued provision of our information, advice and guidance service throughout December, including on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.   
  • On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we will be delivering hot food and gift hampers to members from our hub. There will also be a welcoming space for members who wish to come and enjoy a hot meal with us.
