Safeguarding at Crisis
08.08.2024
Crisis staff work with members to empower them to safeguard themselves from harm or abuse and we recognise our role in supporting members to achieve this, which may involve working in partnership with others including statutory services.
As an organisation, we have various processes in place to support this including:
- a robust recruitment process;
- DBS or Disclosure Scotland checks for staff working with members;
- safeguarding training for staff and volunteers working in any of our services; and
- safeguarding policies and procedures.
