This year we worked with 4,355 volunteers who generously supported us during Christmas, in our shops, our services and more.
Every Christmas, Crisis opens its doors to thousands of people facing homelessness. We offer warmth, a safe place to stay and specialist support during one of the toughest times of the year.
This would not have been possible without over 3,660 volunteers who offered their time and expertise to deliver vital services and companionship to people when they needed it the most.
Throughout the year, over 500 volunteers supported our high street stores, offering a range of pre-loved fashion, homeware and gifts. They’re also vital to helping our online shopping orders get to supporters.
Every year, we award grants to support our members in advancing their education, securing employment, and launching small businesses across various industries. The goal of this program is to empower individuals to transform their lives and discover their own paths out of homelessness, with dignity and pride. This year we recruited 36 volunteers, including mentors, who can offer guidance and advice to people who receive our grants.
