As our strategy for ending homelessness evolves, we continue to develop new volunteering opportunities.
As a volunteer in one of our central teams, you will be part of a passionate group of individuals working together to drive change and help people experiencing homelessness at a local and national level.
We have opportunities within a range of teams, from marketing and communications to fundraising, policy to best practice. Our office staff are friendly, supportive and inclusive, and you will be made to feel part of the team from the very start.
We really value the fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and creativity our volunteers bring to their roles. In return you will gain new experience, skills and knowledge, as well as make connections with other volunteers and staff.
Corporate supporters of Crisis give more than just money. Their time, energy, and expertise helps end homelessness in a number of ways. Opportunities include:
Our Partnerships team create calendars of activity for all our corporate partners who can commit to a minimum fundraising target of £20,000.
These calendars include a range of seasonal and ad hoc volunteering opportunities for teams and individuals.
Unfortunately, due to the popularity of our volunteering programme, we are unable to offer opportunities to companies who are looking to source one-off team events.

If you have a specialist skill developed through your career or academic studies that can help deliver effective solutions to ending homelessness, we want to collaborate with you. We can match you with a specific project in our organisation to help boost capacity, accelerate innovation, and solve strategic challenges and problems.
Our specialist volunteers come from all walks of life, bringing important new perspectives and expertise. Volunteers from Accenture have already helped us to reconsider our approach to our shops and e-commerce, and we have a volunteer who is acting as a mentor to one of the businesses supported through our Venture Studio. We want individuals and teams who can help us to end homelessness sooner by bringing their talents to all parts of Crisis. This could be in marketing, finance, project management, data and digital.
We will ensure that your role is valued, with defined goals and objectives and that you understand how you are part of ending homelessness. Not only will you be able to see the direct impact of contributions, but you will also have a chance to learn about the structural causes of homelessness and the solutions needed to end it.
Volunteering a specialist skill you have is an incredibly meaningful way to contribute towards ending homelessness in your community and beyond.
We currently have a really exciting specialist volunteer role supporting our Data, Digital and Technology team to update their supporter database as part of our CRM project.
