As an ally to the Homelessness Alliance, your organisation is committed to contributing towards the collective goal of ending homelessness. The following terms and conditions outline the responsibilities and expectations for all signatories.
1. Commitment to the Alliance's Objectives
Allies agree to support the overarching mission of the Homelessness Alliance, which is to work collaboratively towards ending homelessness.
Allies shall endeavour to align their organisational practices, policies, and initiatives with the principles outlined in the Alliance.
2. Implementation of Pledges
Allies are required to adopt and implement the specific Pledges associated with the Homelessness Alliance. These Pledges will be tailored to the capacity and focus of each organisation.
Allies shall make reasonable efforts to integrate the Pledges into their operations and report on progress annually through survey sent out and case studies.
3. Participation in Alliance Activities
Allies are encouraged to participate in activities organised by the Homelessness Alliance, including webinars, networking events, and any other meetings and events.
Allies may be invited to share their experiences and best practices with other members of the Alliance community.
4. Use of Resources
Allies will have access to resources provided by the Homelessness Alliance, including guides, toolkits, and webinars. These resources are to be used solely for the purpose of advancing the objectives of the Alliance.
Allies agree not to share proprietary resources or materials with third parties outside the Alliance without prior permission.
5. Public Recognition and Branding
Allies are permitted to publicly acknowledge their participation in the Homelessness Alliance and to use the Alliance’s branding in accordance with the guidelines provided.
Any public statements or materials referring to the Homelessness Alliance must accurately represent the ally's commitment and activities.
Allies are not permitted to use the Crisis logo. We have a Homelessness Alliance lockup that has been designed for allies to use.
6. Reporting and Accountability
Allies are expected to provide information about what they are doing against the Pledges through the form of a yearly survey and case studies.
7. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
Allies are encouraged to actively participate in the exchange of knowledge and best practices within the Alliance community.
Collaborative efforts between allies are encouraged, and the Alliance may facilitate introductions or partnerships where appropriate.
8. Data Protection and Confidentiality
Allies must comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations when handling any personal or sensitive information obtained through their involvement in the Alliance.
Confidential information shared between allies or by the Alliance should not be disclosed to third parties without appropriate consent.
9. Termination of Participation
Allies may terminate their participation in the Homelessness Alliance by providing written notice. Upon termination, the ally must cease using the Alliance's branding and resources.
The Homelessness Alliance may withdraw an ally’s participation if they do not meet the outlined guidelines or engage in actions that conflict with the Alliance’s mission.
10. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
The Homelessness Alliance reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as needed. Allies will be notified of any significant changes and will have the opportunity to review and agree to the updated terms.

By agreeing to become a ally of the Homelessness Alliance, your organisation commits to upholding this guidance.
