⭐ Hear more from one of our incredible fundraisers, Sanjay, who took on the huge challenge of cycling from London to Morocco. We caught up when he finished his challenge in mid-October. ⭐
What's your challenge?
I've cycled solo from London to Tangier, Morocco (almost 1500 miles) over the past 4 weeks, arrived today!
Why did you choose this challenge?
I'm not a cyclist as such, only semi-fit, a little overweight, 50 year old Dad and Cub Scout leader. I wanted to challenge myself and also show my child and Cubs what's achievable with effort, perseverance and a never say no attitude.
Why have you chose to support Crisis?
I've supported Crisis in the past, raising £2,000+ in 2019 on a cycle related activity and I've also volunteered at Christmas in London. This is a continuation of my support to your organisation. The homeless crisis cannot be allowed to continue in Britain.
How did the challenge go?
I've arrived in Tangier this afternoon following just under 4 weeks cycling (and a few rest days!).
I had a lot of fun, although there's been way too much rain - the rain in Spain...... - almost every second day! And hills and mountains that had me almost crying!
I've raised £1,500 to date but hope to see that total rise significantly now that I've achieved my aim.
We're always blown away by the amazing lengths our supporters go to to fundraise for Crisis. You can still support Sanjay by donating to his fundraising page, or if you're inspired, take on your own challenge!
