Crisis at Christmas provides safety, essential services and companionship for people experiencing homelessness each Christmas in Edinburgh. Coronavirus made us look at how we run Christmas, and the outreach model of the last 2 years was very successful.
We are delighted to be able to offer a mixture of delivered/outreach service and some small, in person events.
Over this Christmas period we will offer:
- Delivery of Wellbeing and gift packs
- Social support with telephone calls over Christmas
- Delivery of a hot meal on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
- In-person events- a cinema day, Christmas party, Botanic lights, and Wellbeing day
We want to ensure that our guests receive the same care and connection they usually would: so as much as is possible, we are bringing Christmas to them.
Crisis at Christmas in Edinburgh relies on donations from members of the public, community groups and companies to supply the items our guests need most urgently. We are incredibly thankful for all who have donated items to our Christmas offer this year.
Please note: we are unable to accept pre-loved items
