We are thrilled to be working with Snug, the UK’s original Sofa in a Box Company, for the second year in a row. This year, Snug chose not to take part in the Black Friday discount weekend, instead pledging to support Crisis with a donation of £15,000. Customers were given the option to make a donation at checkout, or head directly to Crisis’ donation page.
With the help of their highly engaged social media presence, Snug hopes to reach £25,000 in donations. Across Snug’s social media platforms and with the help of influencers, the brand also featured Crisis ‘stickers’ encouraging consumers to donate directly.
As a Connect for Crisis partner, donations from Snug will go towards Crisis’ housing services – our housing coaches work to support people who need help with their living situation to move into a safe, permanent home, and housing solutions and actions for government are a core part of our strategy.
Last year, Snug were able to provide 130 individuals with somewhere safe to stay over the Christmas season through our 2019 ‘Reserve a Place’ appeal, and we’re thrilled to have their support again this year.

“It’s been a difficult year for us all, but thanks to the generosity of our supporters we’ve been able to adapt our frontline services and be there for people without a safe and stable place to call home.”
