We are delighted that 13 amazing companies decided to join Connect for Crisis 2021, together we raised over £150,000 for Crisis at Christmas and our year-round services.
We would like to thank our generous supporters who played a key role in giving 511 people somewhere safe to stay this Christmas.
Connect for Crisis was launched for the first time in 2020 we wanted to create an opportunity for partners, that does not only raise vital funds for our Christmas services and all year-round work but offers our partners a new exciting way of engaging with Crisis. Furthermore, all supporters received co-branded content in the lead up to Christmas, which they could share internally and externally.
To become part of Connect for Crisis 2021 businesses could chose to join one of four inspiring communities that each reflect key areas of our work. We also offered different financial supporter tiers, allowing smaller partners to join too.
As part of Connect all of our supporters were featured in two Financial Times Thank you adverts in December, and they received a bespoke film featuring our member Nick, who kindly shared his story and how he worked together with his Crisis’ coach to leave homelessness behind. Connecting with supporters through the voices of our members is vital, as it shows the best how their support can help individuals.
Over the next 12 months our Connect for Crisis supporters will receive quarterly updates on their chosen community, they will be invited to webinars and events and have the opportunity to engage with likeminded businesses committed to ending homelessness. Starting in February with a report about our Christmas activities, we are excited to stay connected with our great pool of supporters and to learn from each other.
Thank you to hush, GlaxoSmithKline, QBE Foundation, Watches of Switzerland, Taylor Wimpey, Aimar Foundation, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, Procter & Gamble, PwC Foundation, Creams Café, XPS Pensions Group, Foster and Partners and Bespoke IT Solutions Ltd. for supporting Connect for Crisis 2021.
