Data Protection Notice for Landlords

As part of our efforts to end homelessness and help find accommodation for our members, we will collect and process your data as part of our ongoing relationship with you.

Some of our housing procurement work is funded through our partnership with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme Charitable Foundation (TDS).

Please review the following information about how your data will be used and your rights under data protection law:

 

1. What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal information about you:

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • A high-level overview of the properties you manage (e.g., number of properties, location)

 

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data will be used to:

  • Track and manage relationships with landlords for the purpose of securing tenancies for Crisis members.
  • Share anonymised information with the TDS as part of the project’s reporting requirements.

 

3. Data Sharing

Your data will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes without your consent. Any information shared with the TDS will be anonymised to protect your privacy.

 

4. Retention of Your Data

Your data will be retained securely for a maximum of 4 years from the date we last contacted you, in line with our data retention policy, unless you request that it be deleted earlier.

 

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request corrections to any inaccuracies.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time. Please reply to let me know should you wish to withdraw consent.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to certain conditions.
