Project summary

The Rent Deposit Bond Scheme has been designed to assist people to be able to afford to access the private rented sector. Information on other services is available through the Housing Advice Team.

Clients

Who is eligible?

Eligibility criteria:-

• Homeless or threatened with homelessness
• Have a local connection to Wyre Forest District Council
• Be in housing need
• Agree to repay any bond paid out to the landlord
• Agree to undertake a financial statement to verify that privately renting is an affordable option
