Worcestershire Homeless Prevention Services (HoPES)
Project summary
The Worcestershire HoPES is a service for single people and childless couples across Worcestershire who are at risk of homelessness or rough sleeping. It provides a single point of access for advice and support covering a range of services related to prevention, tenancy, debt, training and employment.
Clients
Who is eligible?
The service is available to:-
- Single people or childless couples over the age of 18 who are found to be homeless in Worcestershire
- Adults who are at serious risk of becoming street homeless who require support to maintain accommodation
- Those at risk of eviction
- Those newly arrived to the streets

- Tenancy issues
- Housing rights
- Budgeting & Benefit take-up
- Housing related debt
- Training & employment
- Social & community inclusion
This is provided through Outreach services, Floating support, Peer to Peer Guidance and via a Single point of access with a focus on early intervention and prevention.
