Project summary
Turning Tides provides a range of homeless support services in West Sussex, covering Adur and Worthing, Littlehampton, Horsham District and Mid Sussex. We deliver effective and sustainable services, striving to achieve complete pathways out of homelessness. We collaborate with local authorities, partner agencies and external providers to ensure our approach is joined up and inclusive within systems such as housing, health, social care, substance misuse and criminal justice.

Who is eligible?
Advice and support for any single adult experiencing homelessness – whether rough sleeping, sofa surfing, or in emergency/temporary accommodation
Client services
- Delivery of essentials to clients in temporary accommodation
- Wellbeing check ins and support over the phone
- Conducting Outreach support alongside local authorities.

Outreach support to rough sleepers in the Arun District, in partnership with Arun District Council and Stonepillow - We are in the process of developing groups, skills & wellbeing workshops, as well as afternoon drop ins for anyone that may be experiencing issues with their current tenancy

How are referrals made
Clients can access our accommodation via the Local Authority but potential clients are regularly supported initially via our Community Hubs, Outreach teams and numerous partnerships working in the area.
