Project summary
The aim of the scheme is to help those who are homeless or threatened with homelessness to access privately rented accommodation.
Clients
Who is eligible?
You may be eligible for the scheme if you can answer yes to all of the following questions:
• Are you homeless or at risk of homelessness?
• Do you have a local connection to the borough of Stockton-on-Tees?
• Do you have insufficient funds available to you to secure accommodation yourself?

- Assistance with finding properties in the PRS
- Assessment of client needs
- Welcome packs (food, furniture, kitchen items, etc)
- Practical support for tenants (e.g. advice on setting up tenancy/deposit)
- Tenancy support service
- Signposting for education, volunteering and employment opportunities
- Rent in advance
- Referrals to funiture projects
- Legal support on rights and responsibilities for tenants
- Out of office contact details
Assistance in acquiring a property, maintaining a tenancy, client support and referring to support services
