Project summary
The Rent Deposit Scheme is one of the ways in which South Kesteven District Council help homeless and vulnerable households into privately rented accommodation.
Clients
Who is eligible?
Eligibility criteria:-
- you must be homeless or threatened with homelessness
- Have been resident or employed with South Kesteven for the last 6 months
- Have no housing-related debt
- Be able to afford the repayment plan for any loan
- Be unable to afford the rent in advance/deposit
- Not be subject to any ongoing fraud investigation by the Council

How are referrals made
Via the Housing Needs team - you will need to fill in an online form then your application will be assessed and checked to see if you are eligible for the scheme.
