Project summary

The Council Bond and Rent in Advance Scheme can assist with a cash payment to your new Landlord if you are claiming or will be claiming Universal Credit or Housing Benefit in your new home.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for this scheme you will need to be 

• Be homeless/ threatened with becoming homeless/ living in unsuitable accommodation
• Be on a low income or receiving benefits 
• Have insufficient savings to pay the bond 
• Be capable of independent living
• The property must be affordable
