Redcar & Cleveland Bond Guarantee Scheme (RCBG)

Project summary

For single people over 18 yrs of age couple and families, who urgently need housing, to move into privately rented accommodation. Where they are unable to find a cash deposit required by a landlord, our scheme can provide a Bond Guarantee Certificate

Clients

Who is eligible?

To qualify for the scheme, applicants must *have lived in the Redcar & Cleveland area for at least 6 months and: * Be over 18 years of age * * Be at risk of becoming homeless or * Be living in temporary accommodation or * Be living in poor or unsuita

• Signposting for education, volunteering and employment opportunities
• Property inspection
• Legal support on rights and responsibilities for tenants
• Bond Guarantees
• Assessment of client needs
