Project summary

The Housing Needs Advice and Support team can advise you if you are homeless or worried about becoming homeless, as well as offering services such as Rent it Right - a voluntary landlord accreditation scheme run by Portsmouth City Council which enables local landlords to provide affordable homes for local people in housing need.

Who is eligible?

To access the Housing Needs team you must be homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Client services

• Assessment of housing situation, and creation of a personalised housing plan
• Mediation support with family members or your landlord
• Financial assistance to keep your current home or to secure other accommodation
