Project summary

Dundee Homefinder can assist you to secure private sector tenancies in an area that suits you. If you are unable to raise a deposit Homefinder may be able to negotiate with landlords that you repay your deposit in regular weekly/fortnightly/monthly instalments.

People considered to be homeless or threatened by homelessness.

• Signposting for education, volunteering and employment opportunities
• Assessment of client needs
• Assistance with application for community care grants and budgeting loans
• Client support plan
• Welcome packs (food, furniture, kitchen items, etc)
• Referral to support services
• Property inspection
• Practical support for tenants (e.g. advice on setting up tenancy/deposit)
• Relevant certificates obtained before tenancy (Gas Safety Certificate etc)
• Housing Benefit assistance
• Referrals to funiture projects
• Assistance with finding properties in the PRS
• Tenancy support service
• Bond Guarantees
