Project summary
Reach is a partnership between DHI, Stonham and Clean Slate who provide a combination of practical and emotional support to help people live independently and develop useful life skills.
DHI Reach finds and maintains suitable and secure housing for disadvantaged people and those living on the margins of society.
Clients
Who is eligible?
DHI’s clients are people who face social exclusion for a wide variety of reasons, including homelessness, drug and alcohol use, physical or mental ill health, lack of employable skills, and histories of offending.

- Tenancy support service
- Assessment of client needs
- Housing Benefit assistance
- Client support plan
- Property inspection
- Referral to support services
- Practical support for tenants (e.g. advice on setting up tenancy/deposit)
- Assistance with application for community care grants and budgeting loans
- Assistance with finding properties in the PRS
- Signposting for education, volunteering and employment opportunities
