Clients

Who is eligible?

People who are homeless or threatened with homelessness and do not have the means to secure a private rented tenancy.

Client services

We can give you advice and support with: 

• managing your landlord / tenant relationship 
• how a landlord can end your tenancy 
• illegal eviction 
• mediation with family and friends who are asking you to leave 
• relationship breakdown 
• claiming benefits to help you stay in your property 
• managing debt to reduce arrears
• Help with finding accommodation

How are referrals made

Check with the Housing Advice Team for information for referral information.

• Deposit guarantee
• Direct payment of Housing Benefit
• Ongoing tenancy support

In addition to the options above, services provided to Landlords are:- Free introduction to a waiting list of tenants; Professional tenancy management advice and Rent guarantee insurance.
