Our inquiry into whether the Government is on track to end rough sleeping in England by 2024

Earlier this year the APPG for Ending Homelessness launched an inquiry into the Westminster Government’s progress towards its manifesto commitment to ‘end the blight of rough sleeping by the end of the next Parliament’ in England by 2024.

This inquiry was extensive, it included multiple evidence sessions in Parliament and consultations with organisations working in the homelessness sector, local authorities across England and, crucially, people with direct experience of homelessness and rough sleeping.

The findings of inquiry were published in a report, which you can read here

The APPGEH’s Co-Chairs Bob Blackman MP and Flo Eshalomi MP released a statement on this report, which you can read here.

You can read the APPGEH’s (now closed) call for evidence as part of the inquiry here.

You can watch the evidence sessions, as well as the rest of our APPGEH sessions here.
